The Warehouse person will properly and safely stock our roofing materials in our warehouse, pull inventory for customer pick-ups, use a forklift to unload inventory from incoming delivery trucks and load our trucks for jobsite deliveries. You will insure accurate counts of inventory as it comes in and goes out, rotate stock and properly handle any damaged materials. Be part of a team, because we have a ''team-first'' attitude. Rooftop Loader will support the Driver at the Branch, by loading the truck and riding with the Driver to the job site to unload the building materials safely and efficiently. The roofing materials will be unloaded onto the roof of the building with attention paid to the Roofing Contractors' needs and the homeowners' property. The Territory Manager's primary role is to call upon new and existing customers and develop new business opportunities in the local roofing, general contractor and home builder markets. The sales person will coordinate closely with our inside sales support team and our vendors to plan and execute the promotion of products and services to our customers. The development and execution of a detailed annual sales plan will also be a critical requirement for this position.
A Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching the drivers to job-sites, assisting our walk-in customers and helping them over the phone. Depending on the workload, Dispatchers assume many of the same responsibilities as our Inside Sales Associates and have the added responsibility of coordinating deliveries efficiently.

The SRS Distribution Inc. Management Training Program is designed to be a hands-on program, where you will learn and make contributions on your first day! You will have full access to everyone at the branch, while mentored by a team of people, even up to your Senior VP. Your goal is to learn all aspects of our business, culture, and core values, so that you can rise to the position of Branch Manager and beyond. We have a dedicated Talent Management team working with you and your mentors so that your experience is like no other in the industry.
Management Trainees will be hands-on from day one as you learn every position in the branch. Other training will consist of individual coaching, conference calls, webinars, online courses, and a 2-week training class in Dallas, TX a few months after you start. At corporate, you will meet the people who support you and the branches and our executive team, learn valuable information from industry legends, and add key sales and management skills to help you shine. It's here where you will also meet other Management Trainees from across the U.S.
The Management Trainee Program is designed to last approximately 1 to 2 years. Each person and branch is different and thus the suggested assignments and time lines may vary. You will gain knowledge and experience regarding how to manage a multimillion-dollar SRS distribution center, by mastering the following subject areas such as; product knowledge, software, fleet and safety, warehouse operations, human resources, financial performance, sales administration, supply chain, transportation, and sales.
Your goal is to be promoted to Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager first, or right into managing a small branch as a Branch Manager. As a Branch Manager, you will act like a CEO and manage and grow a branch of your own by developing your people; building relationships with your staff, customers, and vendors; creating a plan for your branch; forecasting and managing a budget; selling our products; and being a visible member in the community. All with the support of a strong management team and a supportive corporate staff. You will be required to work smart and have fun along the way.
Our MBA Leadership Development Program is a comprehensive program to take a leadership role in operations or a strategic, corporate role. You will have direct access to multiple leaders and teams across the U.S. and in the corporate office.
The program will involve working in multiple corporate functions such as; Finance and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Marketing, Pricing, Fleet & Safety, Information Technology, Human Resources and Procurement. During this time you will work on projects and operational processes, which you will have a key role in establishing and implementing, will be determined, based on your skill set and what SRS' needs are. The program also includes working in a branch and learning all of the operations of a multimillion-dollar distribution center. Some have opened a ''greenfield'' branch, participated in an acquisition, worked in a branch after during an event, and other situations to prepare you for a leadership role at SRS.
